I have a Focus MK3 and the rear window on the passenger side sometimes doesn't go down, regardless of whether I press the button on the respective door or the driver's door. From what I noticed it seems that it only fails on the way down, when going up I've never seen it fail. Can anyone help me with what it could be?
My first thought would be the motor in that door, as the issue is both with the drivers controls, and in the door itself.
It could actually be the engine, my fear is it could be the module. The problem is that there are very picky mechanics, especially electricians.
De module is the quickest to get to it is behind the doorboard outside the door maybe getting a second hand one to switch out. De motor is al liter more work but also easy to do
To measure is to know. Door panel has to come off and measure the wires to the motor. If they are good it’s the motor. If not it’s the module.
