Installeren Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Focus MK4

I couldn't find a vehicle with the same part number that has ACC, but there are vehicles with ACC but without reinforced ABS. I changed the settings to Cluster, and it works flawlessly. Sync 4 is disabled. iACC isn't working stably and crashes after a while. Does having a manual transmission affect it?

Try to get ACC working properly first. Thereafter you can try iACC. For iACC you need to have your IPMA settings right.

ACC works fine. I tested it and it didn't produce any error codes. I have activated the IACC places with UCDS but I think there is something missing as you said.

Oke ik probeer door de teksten heen te spitten maar krijg nou niet duidelijk hoe het werkt met de automaat.

Ik heb een 1.5 automaat en zou tzt toch graag acc inbouwen.
Ik heb wel Lane centering volgens mij (hij stuurt zelf terug naar het midden wel heel minimaal).
Heb niet de automatiche inparkeer functie.

Als ik het dus goed begrijp moet bij mij zoizo de IPMA vervangen worden en de CCM + knop op het stuur geplaatst worden.
kan iemand dit bevestigen ? vindt eigenlijk het stukje stop en go ook wel een must bij ACC voor file rijden.

Je hebt dan geen lane centering maar lane keeping. Dat eerste heb je alleen als je ACC hebt in combinatie met een automaat.

Met je ABS zou het moeten lukken als ik mij niet vergis. Je hebt inderdaad een andere IPMA nodig (-C*) en een CCM met bracket en de knoppen.

Is lane centering ook te retrofitten als die nieuwere IPMA module geplaatst is?
En ook het stukje stop en go zou gaan werken op de automaat met mijn ABS versie?


Ik heb tevens Ohi Chen een bericht via FB gestuurd hij bied een set aan met kabel, ccm, stuurknop voor +/-365euro incl verzenden.
hij beweerd dat ook de camera te gebruiken is maargoed ik weet niet welke truc hij daarvoor uithaalt.

Ik zou het liefste alles los kopen en zelf de programmering doen mocht er ooit iets zijn met de auto weet ik ook hoe het terug kan of opnieuw geprogrammeerd kan worden.

Hij zal waarschijnlijk via UCDS je IPMA geheel opnieuw programmeren. Een riskante activiteit die ik zelf niet gouw zou doen.

Zelf doen is prima te doen. Het is geen rocket science.

Betreft die knoppen op het stuur wat maakt dit type voor de handbak?
Ik zie geen ander voor een automaat of is dit gewoon een aanname die toen gedaan is ?

Hi，My car（19MY Focus MK4 STL) has CCM（JX7T-9G768-AC）, and can currently achieve AHB and cruise control functions. Recently, I tried to install the adaptive cruise control function but failed. After checking, I found that my IPMA part number is JX7T-19H406-DA. Does this mean that my IPMA does not support adaptive cruise control function?In addition, I have replaced the left steering wheel button (JX7T-9E740-A *) and changed the settings in SCCM, but the button cannot be used (including volume adjustment) and got a DTC code 【B137F: 96】. What could be the reason?

You indeed need a -C* IPMA. The fault code is related to a fault inside the button cluster. Is it an original button cluster or the AliExpress version?

I configured ACC in easy mode, and the Traffic sign recognition mode of IPMA should be set to only the camera data (because my car doesn't have GPS); And for SCCM, I only selected the part number of the new component in easy mode, which actually needs to be modified in As Built. The conclusion is that IPMA with - D * can also achieve ACC. Thanks for your reply.

Interesting to see that yours works with a -D*. I’ve seen cases where it didn’t work, they had GPS though. So it could be that this is what is causing ‘the make it or break it’ to get it to work.
